Metacognition Matters: Strategies for Enhancing Student Learning in College Classrooms

West Virginia Wesleyan educators are seeking to make a greater impact on their teaching and learning culture. This project featured two events: an introduction to metacognition and application of strategies for faculty, and a metacognitive workshop for educators who work with students primarily outside of the classroom. Participants responded well to the metacognitive approach. I’m looking forward to hearing about the enhancements┬áthat result from this event.
